My favorite new band is Little Dragon. We’ve been playing them for some time on Chillville, and they recently stole my heart with their performance at South-By-Southwest.
At the center of the group is Yukimi Nagano, who is described as “Swedish-Japanese” on the band’s Wikipedia page.
We (the Chillville show) had presented their show at the Parish back in January, but I was in Sucramento and unable to attend. Man, I sure would like to have that one back.
If you are a Gorillaz fan, you may already know her via her performance on “Empire Ants.”

Little Dragon’s new album is set to drop in the next couple of months (the release date keeps floating). In the meantime, check out “Feather” from their last album Machine Dreams. Awesome!
